LAST DAY - JULY 26TH
This is our last day at the beautiful Antlers. A few of us got up around 5:30 in the morning to head out on a sunrise kayak trip. We traveled around Raquette Lake for a good two hour trip, spotting beavers, ducks, marten and a couple other creatures. The rest of the morning will be spent presenting our projects from the week, reflecting on our time spent in the Adirondacks, and cleaning up camp.
It was great having you in The Adirondack Classroom, Tyler. We were most impressed with your presentation yesterday and we hope that you do get the opportunity to implement it when you begin your teaching career. In the meantime, be careful at Empire Farm Days and if I get up there, I will definitely look for you. Don't yell at me too loud if I get in the way of one of the demos, OK? We hope you enjoy the rest of your summer and we wish you the best as you wrap up your time at SUNY Cortland. Thanks again for joining us this week. - Beth and Karl
